Welcome to Sweeney Racing...This site has been developed to give the most up to date race results to our fans! This page will be up-dated on a weekly basis. We are excited to offer our fans information on where we will be racing, fun facts about our race team and our driver.

James Sweeney, our driver, decided years ago that he liked to drive anything with wheels. He started out with a quad in his parents backyard and then moved to a Jeep on Christmas Day on the Rubicon Trail at the age of 8. From there he moved to kart racing and now on to Midgets and Sprint cars.

2009 will bring some new opportunities! Again this year James will be driving the Sweeney Racing owned 20j sprint car at Placerville Speedway competing for the championship,and at other selected races. James will also be driving in some U.S.A.C. Western Regional sprint pavement races and some midget races.
